Yard Work 2012

May is the month we work outside in our landscaping getting our yard looking nice and pretty. Aaron and I work on thinning our perennials, moving plants, pulling weeds, putting preen down, putting in our vegetable gardens, planning flower in our 3 hanging baskets, 5 pots & 4 window boxes, mowing grass, trimming, edging and blowing off our sidewalks. This is just some things that came to my mind.

Side of our House 2012
We are usually outside 3 to 4 nights a week working. We both enjoy working outside and with having Hank this last year it has been a little bit of a challenge to get our work done. So we have tried to be creative in keeping him happy & busy while being outside.
  • Hank will sit in the grass and play with toys
  • Sit in his stroller eating pretzel rods
  • Play in his walker
  • Sit in his highchair in the grass eating cookies
  • Swing in his swing
  • or even sit in the wheelbarrow and get rides
Here are some pictures of our happy boy helping do the yard work. We just hope he will help more as he gets older.
