"Shoot It"

If you have spent anytime with Hank within the last 3 months you will see him shooting hoops or carrying a ball with him. He LOVES balls right now. Before we broke down and got him a hoop for insides he was trying to shoot the ball through our lamp shades. As Hank is playing ball he is usually saying, "Shoot It". I loving it because basketball was my sport in High School. I would love to have my son play basketball in school and especially be successful at it.

Grandma has a basketball hoop in her house for the boys to play with. As she has watched Hank this last month she has taught Hank to clap every time he makes it through the hoop. It is quite funny. We (especially Nick & Kyle - they do not want to see their nephew running down the court clapping for himself) hope he out grows the clapping

Now we just need to get that pacifier out of his month!!

Easter

Easter is always a fun day as we go to church in the morning. Then have Easter dinner at my parent's house with my siblings and lot of cousins for Hank to play with. It's always a fun time of the year as spring is approaching!!

Hank's Easter Basket

Checking it out!!

Daddy showing him Elmo!
Hank got his Easter Basket before church on Sunday!! He got his Elmo Easter basket from his Aunt Marsha. She knows how he loves Elmo and found it at the thrift store and couldn't pass it up. We left the basket out for the Easter Bunny to fill.

Hank's Easter egg hunt at home!

Hank did an awesome job gathering his eggs that he found in the grass. The best part was he didn't have to fight anyone for his eggs. Bella was even a help in finding them.

Easter at the Pieracini's
We had an Easter dinner and an egg hunt at my parents house on Sunday afternoon. We had 11 kids in the egg hunt and we did the calculation on how many they could find and it was 9 eggs. Once they found 9 eggs they were finished. Hank got his 9 eggs and got lots of candy and $3.50 for his savings account.

Here is a small glimpses of what our family gatherings look like. I think the highlight of the days for Hank was playing outside, shooting hoops with his cousins. He loves being outside!!

A Day in Cleveland!!

We spent the day in Cleveland on Good Friday this year. We went to a Children's Museum, that is very hands on for children. We sure did pick a good day to go because I think half of Cleveland was there due to the schools closed for Good Friday  It was still fun. I think Hank had more fun watching all the kids and what they were doing.

We took his shoes and socks off so he could walk around in the sand and he did not like the feel of sand on his feetl. He climbed up on his daddy's lap. Aaron tried to get Hank to play in the sand with a shovel. He would play while he sat on daddy's lap.. Maybe with summer right around the corner he will get use to the sand. I don't know to many kids that don't like sand so i'm sure he will one day!!

We visited a park on Lake Erie and enjoyed the warm weather and sunshine. We walked out on the pier and Hank was not to excited about that. He did better on land. He doesn't like sand and water, I think it's going to be a long summer..

We ended the day by visiting Aaron's Great-Aunt Toni. She is 95 years old and in great shape. We were able to visit for about an hour before Hank was ready to go. It was great to see her and visit for awhile.

The drive home was not so fun as Hank was very tired and was ready for his bed. It was a nice day and we enjoyed our family time together.

Easter Bunny!!

Hank went to visit the Easter Bunny and he was not happy at all to be sitting on his lap. He sat long enough for me to get one picture. Maybe next year it will be a better experience for him.

The bunny is kind of scary looking!! :)

We then went to the Liberty Center Parks for an Easter egg hunt. Morgan helped Hank gather some eggs once they got the okay. Hank got 3 eggs and in return he got a  bag of candy. It was fun to see Hank gathering eggs. It was a fun day!!

Snack Time at Church

Hank got new Nursery Leaders last month. One is his Aunt Jenny & the other is Sister Becerril. Hank is doing a lot better going to nursery the 2nd & 3rd hour of church. I think having his Aunt Jenny in nursery is a good thing, because it's always nice to have a familiar face when you are trying to adjust to something new.

One thing I like about this picture below is that Hank is sitting at the table while he is eating. Maybe they can get Hank to sit while eating because we are not having much luck with it.

Our Nursery Leaders coordinate their outfits! How cool is that!

Opening the Dugout!!

The Dugout is a fun family business that we all enjoy, especially the ice cream. The not so fun part is opening it for the season in March. Dad does most of the opening and us girls help with filling items and organizing it the last couple days before it opens. We are starting our 19th season with the Dugout. We just started a facebook page this year to help bring in more business.

Nick & Dad put up & take down the Awning every year!!

Sunbathing!!

One Morning I couldn't find Bella inside or outside.. Finally I found her laying in the landscaping up near the house. It was a nice sunny morning and she was enjoying laying in the sun. She is a great dog, we just love her so much.

Time to do Laundry!!

Hank loves to help do laundry. When he hears the washer filling up with water he comes running to "shoot" the clothes into the washer.. He is a good little helper.

Hank's two favorite words - "Shoot it"

Mom's little helper!!
