Relaxing!!

Hank is usually on the go and doesn't slow down for to long. He is just like his daddy. They both have LOTS of energy. Every once in awhile he will take a break to rest and this was one of those moments. I had to take a picture because he looks so darn cute with his blankie, passie and his basketball.. Love this boy so much.

Yard Work!

The fun things about Spring & Summer is all the yard work. :) Aaron is very particular about his yard. He wants it to look very nice and I'm soooo glad he is like that. I think you can tell a lot about a person by their yard. When Aaron mows he starts by trimming around the yard, then mows and finally finished his job off by blowing all the concrete. It looks so nice when it's all finished. We usually are working out in the yard about 2 to 3 times a week from April til September.

This year I made Aaron get the swing out of the attic, so we can relax and enjoy all our hard work in the yard. It has been at least 5 years since the swing has seen sunlight. Hank and I have sat and swung together already, so it was worth pulling it out this year. I think Hank will help motivate us to sit and relax this year since he loves to be outside.

The fun part about working outside this year is having Hank right by our side watching us and picking up on all our hard work. We are training him so he will be ready to do the job in a couple of years.  He is such a sweet boy to watch and we love him so much. We hope all our hard work outside is setting a good example for Hank.

On the move!!
I could take pictures of this boy all day long. He is getting to be so much fun as he is on the go, talking and learning so much. I just hope we are teaching him all the right things. He is like a little sponge right now. One of the things he loves is the weed whacker and wants to play with his daddy's all the time. Good thing his birthday is in July, because I'm sure that is something he may get.

Thatching the Yard!

Every year we have to thatch our yard. We rent a machine and it pulls a lot of the dead grass out so the new grass can grow in better. We also have to rake all the dead grass out. It's a BIG job. Hank helped out a little this year.

Helping daddy!

This the a lot of dead grass!!

Bookie's Last Evening In America!!

My parents hosted Bookie Veerin an Exchange Student from Thailand this past school year. She got to my parents house in August 2012 and spend 8 months in my parents home. She is one of the sweetest girl I have ever meet. She is very kind and loving. It was fun to have her in our family for the short time we did. She went home to Thailand in April 2012.

Our family got together and went out to dinner the night before she left. It was very sad to see her leave but she was so excited to see her family. We just love Bookie so much and can't wait to see her again.

Her last dinner with the Pieracini's!!
