50 degree day in February!!

Monday was a very nice day. It was 50 degree's in the middle of winter. Hank & I took advantage of a nice day and got outside for an hour. We went to the park and he just loved it. I have a feeling we are going to spend many days at the park this summer. He loves the slides.

Enjoying the Park!!

Daddy came to play after work!!

Bella & Mazie Sleepover

Bella had her cousin spend the night this past weekend. The Allen family went out of town & we found out Mazie was home alone. Aaron & I decided to go pick her up so she wasn't bored. Marsha warned us she has been shedding a lot so we decided to give her a bath. Bella was scared she was next. :)

Mazie is not a big fan of bath time too!!

This is the first time Bella had Mazie over to spend the night. It was fun but different to have two big dogs around the house.

Bed Time - Both have their own bed!!

Mazie is a good dog!!

Aaron Passed!!

Aaron passed the big CWI exam he took back in December. He spent 2 weeks in Troy, Ohio at Hobart  Institute of Welding Technology getting Certified as a Weld Inspector. He took the exam on the last day of the two weeks, and we found out a couple days before Christmas that he passed.
Aaron is officially a CWI. Aaron was and still is so excited as well as I am too. This exam is very hard to pass due to the standards the American Welding Society has set. This certification will opened a lot of possibility for our future. Hank & I are happy to have Aaron back with us in the evenings as he spent 5 months studying.  I am very proud of my husband. Love You!!

My smart husband!!

I'm a Queen!!

I am officially a Queen. I got my very first crown in December. It's not the crown you get at the dollar store. I got mine at the dentist and let me tell you it's not a cheap crown (We will be paying on it for awhile). I would have rather got mine at the dollar store!! :) I guess I am officially getting old..

My parents spent so much money on my teeth in my younger/teenage years that the least I can do it keep up on them. I am very good at getting my cleanings and any extra work the dentist thinks needs done. The amount of money my parents spent on my month is unbelievable. I got cleanings twice a year growing up, a head gear, mouth piece before braces, braces, full mouth reconstruction surgery & 2 more retainers after braces were off. Wow!! Try adding that up for a family of 9. I am soooo grateful for my parents and all the time & money they invested into my beautiful smile. That is the first thing you see on my face is my big smile & my straight teeth. I make sure I show it off.

I believe it is very important to make sure you take care of your teeth and make sure your children have the care they need to have a nice smile. If that means, braces or even  full mouth reconstruction surgery then do it. I am so glad I am not walking around as an adult with a big over bit because man my bothers had some nasty names for me growing up.

I will be sure my children have nice teeth because of the high standards my parents set on me.

Thank You soooo much MOM & DAD for my beautiful smile. That was a big sacrifice financially for you i'm sure but I am so grateful for it. One of the many things you gave me as a child. Love you both for my smile..

John & Laura's Wedding

We went down to Newark, Ohio for Aaron's brothers wedding open house in early January. John & Laura got married in Washington DC in December and then had an open house in January. We got to visit with Aaron's family Friday afternoon and evening. His grandfather, Uncle David, Aunt Lucy & Uncle Rick all came in from out of town. All of his siblings were in town except Robert. It was a very nice evening and weekend with family. I am waiting on a big group picture of all the family. Will post once I get it.

Aaron & his Mother  - Love the smile Aaron!!
We stayed the weekend at the Finlayson's home. We love spending time with Steve and Jeri visiting and catching up with them. Hank was a little scared of Steve the first couple of days but as the weekend went on, we found him sitting on Steve's lap reading books. It's fun for Hank to to stay at the Finlayson's and get to know a special family Aaron grow up with.

Steve and Hank reading Books!
We got to spend Sunday evening with the Jenkins. We love our visit's with them. Hank got really tired Sunday evening and was ready for bed, but jumped up and sat on Justin's lap. It was so cute and nice for Justin to get some snuggle time with a little boy!!!
