Fire Department

October is Fire Prevention month so we decided to take Hank to see the Fire Trucks. Hank also loves Elmo visits the Fire House DVD. So we thought this was a great opportunity for him to see a real Fire Truck. I called our local fire department to see if they would give us a tour of the Fire house. They were more then willing so I called up Hank's local cousins and a couple of his friends and we planned a night to go.

We went to McDonald's for dinner and headed to the Fire Department. They learned about all the equipment they wear and use. They got to sit in the fire trucks and see were they sleep until they get a call to put out a fire. They even turned on the lights for the kids to see. We would like Hank to visit the Fire department every 2 -3 years so next time I think he will really enjoy it.

Hank had 6 cousins (Morgan, Emmett, Molly, Sam, Max & Mitch) and 3 friends (Ethan, Parker & Carleigh) come with him. Grandma and Bookie joined us as well.

Annually Pumpkin Carving Party!!

The Annually Pumpkin Carving Party was on Sunday, October 28th at the Perry Home. Jenny has family and friends over to carve our pumpkins. Every year Jenny's not sure she wants to have it but she can't say no to a party. We are so glad she has it because we really enjoy it. We had walking Taco's, Appetizers and Desserts.

I think next year Hank will really enjoy it as he can help carve his own pumpkin.

Wild Walkers

As I said, one of the best things about Fall is getting outside and walking in the nice weather. Well I can say this fall, I DID. My friend Kim lives 5 or 6 houses down from me and she is my walking buddy. We go in the mornings with Carleigh, Hank & Bella with our walking strollers or in the evenings when our husbands are available to watch the children. We love our girl time and can walk 4 miles each time and never run out of things to talk about. Not surprised at all!! :) When we do miss a day Aaron will ask me if I need to call Kim on the phone and talk to her for an hour or will I be okay.. Girls need their time to chat with girls and also time away from their children. I make sure I get both..

I am grateful to have a good friend I can talk with and also get my exercising in. Kim wouldn't pose for the camera so we got the kiddos all bundled up!

Hank's ready with his Passy & Blanky!

Carleigh's ready for the ride!!

Bella loves to go too!!

Fall Festival

We had our annual fall festival that our church puts on Wednesday, October 17th. We have a chili cook off and then sides to go with it. The kids come in their Halloween costumes and then get to go Trunk or Treating and get their candy. It was great weather all day and then the rain came in as we were eating and that made trick or treating not so fun.

Fall in Ohio!

I love Ohio Falls. It is my favorite time of the year. There are many things that I love about it.. Some of it goes back to when I was a kid.
  • School Starts Up
  • My Birthday
  • OSU Football Season
  • Cool Down in Temperature
  • Having Window's Open
  • Beautiful Fall Trees
  • Buckeye Clothing with Jeans & Tennis Shoes
  • Apple & Pumpkin Picking
  • Walking Outside
  • Halloween
  • Apple Cider
  • Fall Scent Candles
  • Leaves Changing

There is so many fun things to do in the fall too. I think it's the fastest seasons of them all.
I took some pictures of the fall trees in Delta.
